About Me
My childhood was filled with memories of "helping" my grandmother and mother bake in their kitchens. My favorite memory of shared time in the kitchen is rolling out pastry dough and cutting out sugar cookies with my favorite red plastic cookie cutters. Our matching aprons were a must as I sprinkled more flour on myself and the floor than on the table. Snitching a little taste of dough would always be a secret between my mother and I.
Through the years I have added to my blessed memories by baking with my own children. Now that they are in their late teens and early twenties, those occasions where we stand around the kitchen table frosting several batches of cookies only happens during holiday gatherings.
Playing in the kitchen, hosting a "Tea Party" for my friends and stuffed animals and spending many hours creating fabric food and clothing for my dolls has now become a "Real-Life" business endeavor.
My business, "Creative Touches Creations", is a fabric "bakery", for every type of food you can imagine. I create Tea Party Treats, Chenille and Fabric Cakes, Felt Cookies and Tea Bags along with Muffins, Cupcakes and other delectables. Every type of cuisine from Pizza slices and Hamburgers to Pancakes with Eggs and Bacon as well as Lunches including a Sandwich, Fruit, Cookie, Chips and a Drink. I love to create custom items, so please don't hesitate to ask.
I also offer a Children's Clothing line of Mary Jane Shoes and Matching Sun Bonnets as well as Vintage inspired Aprons with matching Dish-washing Gloves.
